AI Foundations · Your organization’s starting point

Give your people a confident start with AI.

AI Foundations introduces executives and teams to the AI tools approved and deployed in their organization. Guided exposure, practical exercises and clear guardrails help people get started before moving into projects, building or implementation leadership.

Start here, before you ask people to build.

Access to an AI tool does not give everyone the confidence or judgment to use it. People need to see what it can do, try it on familiar work and understand where its limits matter.

AI Foundations creates that shared starting point. Begin here before Champions, the Build Kit or Ambassadors, unless your team can already demonstrate the same foundational skills.

Know your tools

Understand what your company’s approved tools can help with, how to access them and which capabilities are available in your setup.

Try useful work

Practice on familiar tasks: preparing a first draft, summarizing approved material, exploring a question or organizing information.

Use human judgment

Learn what information is appropriate to share, how to check an answer and when to stop, ask for help or keep a decision with a person.

Who is AI Foundations for?

The audience shapes the examples and depth. We can start with leadership, a department or a broader employee group.

Executives and leadership teams

Build a practical understanding of the tools, their limits and the questions leaders should ask before setting expectations for adoption.

Departments and functional teams

Connect the organization’s approved tools to familiar responsibilities, shared tasks and the questions people encounter in their roles.

A wider employee rollout

Give people a common vocabulary, a supported first experience and a clear understanding of how to begin responsibly.

What happens in the training?

We connect an introduction to the tools with guided practice. The starting point is your environment and your people’s current level of familiarity.

Orient people to the environment

Show what is available, where it fits in the workday and how company policies and access permissions shape its use.

Demonstrate, then practice

Walk through relevant examples, then help participants give useful context, ask clearer questions and improve an output through iteration.

Check the work and choose a next step

Practice reviewing outputs for accuracy and usefulness. Identify tasks to keep trying, questions to resolve and people ready for deeper work.

What should people be able to do afterward?

The aim is a usable foundation for everyday work, with expectations matched to the tools and audience.

Start an appropriate task

Choose a suitable task in an approved tool and provide the context, instructions and examples it needs.

Review before relying on it

Recognize unsupported claims, missing context and sensitive information. Check important outputs against reliable sources and apply company guidance.

Know what comes next

Continue practicing within clear boundaries and recognize when a task needs additional training, approval or technical support.

How is the program scoped?

We agree the audience, tools, delivery format and session plan around your organization’s needs. An executive introduction and a broader workforce rollout need different examples, pacing and support.

Before training, we confirm the tools participants can access, the relevant policies and suitable practice material. Timing and pricing follow the agreed scope.

Questions about AI Foundations

Should we do Foundations before the other programs?

Yes. Foundations is the recommended starting point before applied projects or implementation leadership. If your people already have equivalent skills, we can confirm their readiness and begin at the appropriate next stage.

Do we need to choose and deploy an AI tool first?

Training should reflect an approved environment participants can use. We confirm tools and access while scoping the work; if those decisions are unresolved, we identify what needs to be settled before hands-on practice.

Do participants need technical experience?

No. Foundations is designed to help people get started. Exercises focus on using the available tools, providing context and reviewing results.

Is this the same as the Foundations and Risk Management course bundle?

This is organization-specific kickoff training around your people and deployed tools. The existing AI Foundations and Risk Management course bundle is a separate learning option that can support continued development.

Build on a shared foundation.

Once people can use the tools responsibly, choose the next program by the work they need to do.

AI Champions

Develop advanced tool skills and put them into practice through a focused company project and tested handoff.

AI Build Kit

Add a configured builder environment, playbook and guardrails when a project calls for custom internal tools.

AI Ambassadors

Prepare internal leaders for implementation planning, project evaluation and helping colleagues adopt the work.

Give your team a useful first experience.

Tell us who needs to get started, which tools are deployed and where confidence is missing. We’ll help scope the right introduction.
